Christian guesthouse owners to appeal

Hazel and Peter Bull, the Christian guesthouse owners ordered to pay £1,800 each in compensation to two gay men after they refused to allow them to share a room with a double bed, are to take their casel to the Court of Appeal.
The men, who are civil partners, were ruled to have been directly discriminated against by virtue of their sexuality.
The appeal is being funded by a Christian charity.
More recently, a gay couple refused a double-bedded room at a Berkshire B&B announced their intention to sue the proprietor.
