Will Aid effort set to raise over £2,000
Posted: 28th November 2014
Williamsons expect to have helped raise over £2,100 for charity in the course of the November Will Aid campaign.
The firm began receiving instructions under the scheme at the end of October. The deal is that the solicitor waives charges for preparation of basic wills and instead of paying us, clients are making donations to the fund that is shared by the nine Will Aid charities.

During the course of the last month, Williamsons have received a regular flow of instructions from people keen to participate. It has been a busy period.
Director Michael Williamson said, “We have been delighted at the level of uptake. In the main, we have been seeing new faces - which is always good for business. If everyone completes their donations at the recommended level, we shall have raised a little over £2,100 for the Will Aid charities”.
Michael added, “We have closed off the scheme now to new instructions although we have a few jobs to finish off. I encourage anyone whose will has been completed but has yet to donate to get in touch with us or Will Aid direct to complete that all important aspect!”
Advice on and preparation of wills is of course one of the standard service offerings at Williamsons throughout the year. Prices start at very little more than the minimum level of suggested Will Aid donation so there is always a good deal on offer.
