Council slips up

snowA park warden who was tasked with erecting warning signs advising caution in icy conditions is set to be awarded a sum in the region of £70,000 after settling a claim against his employers, Leicester City Council.
The warden was erecting a sign when he slipped and fell, injuring his back, neck, wrist and arms.
The man was not given anti-slip footwear before being sent out to erect the signs. The Council admitted liability.
