Triple Blow for Fraudulent Accountant

An accountant who committed fraud has suffered a triple blow as a result of the offence of fraud. Accountant Jeremy Greene had co-signed cheques in respect of fraudulent invoices on behalf of two companies which failed, leaving a trail of creditors owed money.
Greene suffered a triple penalty, being expelled from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, banned from acting as a director for 5 years and given a 21-month suspended prison sentence.
